Great post.The part about the raven actually scared me. Lovely the peace and quiet in the canyon. I cannot imagine (from suburban Boston) being so alone, I mean REALLY alone. All I know about ravens is that they are smart and of course, E.A. Poe's raven. N ow I know more.
