Glad you made it ❤️ . Funny how we may feel like ‘checking out’ except decide to wake up fighting it if given the choice 😊

THANK YOU for not leaving your mess to clean up 😅

I’m happy you’re getting that heart out of first gear!

Pretty traumatic I’m sure.

I get sub40 alerts like tic tacs on my Apple Watch every day. Have for over 4 years.

I don’t have attendant symptoms so my cardiologist hasn’t plugged a pacemaker in me yet. Says it’s just fine.

Being a Canuck I’m lucky we have universal healthcare. If I do get slated for a pacemaker it’ll be covered as have been my two knee replacements and a hip and a corneal transplant.

Again, so happy you’re staying in the game.

Thank you and good luck to you! I never had a cardiologist until about a week ago. As noted in another reply, low 30s was enough to mess with mental functioning. I just *knew,* inherently, that this ain't right.

Glad you made it through! Pretty scary to me, tho, because my husband's RHR is in the low 40s, and has been probably for most of his 73 years. Your story could be ours, at any time. Also, I LOVE the picture of the old chair!

I wouldn't have been concerned with low 40s. As you can see from other comments, it's not unheard of with older folks in any case. Being stuck at 30 bpm was good for raising existential dread, tho. And I couldn't really function, that's the tell...

Yes, isn't that chair amazing!

Damn! I initially assumed this was semi-fictional piece. But, you’re telling the truth! Right? So, onward through the fog… . With force, like a jet fighter! Just don’t mess up the landing.

HAHA NO, every word is true! The weird thing is how much better I feel. I mean, better than I have in years.
